CITY

Music and dance events at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral: Cappella Gloriana will perform “Mozart and California: Side by Side,” a concert featuring works by Mozart and California mission music from the same period, 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, St. Paul's Cathedral, Fifth Avenue and Nutmeg Street. Tickets: $20. Information: (619) 291-3055. In addition, the Pacific Academy of Ecclesiastical Music will offer a series of singing programs based on its “Messiah” singalong, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rummage sale: All Saints Lutheran Church will hold its annual rummage sale, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, 6355 Radcliffe Drive. Information: (858) 453-3595.

Anti-violence march: A march and rally to offer solutions to prevent community violence will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The march will begin from Faith Chapel Church of God in Christ, 4999 Holly Drive, and proceed to John F. Kennedy Park in the 4800 block of T Street. Information: (619) 392-4651.

Koto concert: A concert of Japanese koto, flute and electric wind synthesizer music will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego, 4190 Front St. Flutist Robert Williams and koto master Masayo Norikura will play selections from their just-released CD, “For You.” Donation: $12. Vacation Bible school: Reformation Lutheran Church and School will hold a vacation Bible school, 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, 4670 Mt. Bayview scholarships: Bayview Baptist Church in San Diego presented $67,150 in scholarships to students on June 11. Since 1983, the church has awarded a total of $829,575 in scholarships.
