Mountain High is the closest major mountain resort to San Diego. Though you won't see it in a lot of publications, this is a great choice if you want to avoid mountain driving.
The mountain features a vertical rise of 1,600 feet, with 47 trails and 220 acres of terrain. For the boarders, Mountain High has five terrain parks, a half-pipe, a jib park and a newly built "chill deck" for those much-needed Red Bull breaks.
