Sister resort to the snowboarder-friendly Bear Mountain, Snow Summit draws a more traditional crowd of families and mainstream skiers but still has plenty to offer the extreme-sports set.
Snow Summit features five terrain parks ranging from easy to edgy. The Westridge Park is designed for intermediate to advanced riders and features tables and rails, while the Family Park Fun Zones provide a perfect opportunity for parents and kids to ski and ride together. Bonus: Snow Summit's parks are open for night skiing.
Anticipating the skier-snowboarder rivalry, Snow Summit wisely put the terrain parks on the west end of the resort, leaving shorter lines and a more subdued crowd at popular runs like Miracle Mile, Log Chute, Perfect Pitches and The Wall.
