Snow Valley is about the same elevation as Snow Summit and Bear Mountain, but it receives more natural snow due to its location in the San Bernardino Mountains. A huge snowmaking operation and an average annual snowfall of more than 120 inches ensure you've got a good base for some serious shredding.
Park riders should check out the Euro-themed Schighridj terrain park (pronounced "Skyridge"). Though there's no half-pipe here, you will find other features like rails, hips, tables and banks. Snow Valley boasts a vertical rise of 1,041 feet, along with 30 trails on 240 acres of terrain.
Snow Valley is a learning resort, so expert snow-sporters probably won't be challenged by the regular runs. Thrill seekers can explore Slide Peak in Snow Valley's backcountry, which is only open during heavy snowfall but includes a handful of double black diamond runs.
