Like many other people I am thankful for a lot. I am thankful for food, homes, transportation, and school. I am thankful for family and friends more then anything else in the world.

My name is Torrey Joyner, I'm 11 years old and I attend The Classical Academy of Oceanside. Today I'd like to talk to you about one of the many things I'm thankful for. I'm thankful that God put people on this Earth that are mentally & physically challenged. People like that make people who don't have problems realize how hard it is to live being humiliated everyday. They struggle to fit in & be like everybody else.

My name is Trenton, I'm thankful to live in America because I have the freedom to say anything I want. I'm particularly thankful to live in a country which worships in any religion we want and not be thrown in jail for our beliefs.

Hi my name is Nathan Prescott and I am thankful for lots of things but here are a few. I am thankful for Alan's Ally because almost every Saturday morning my dad and I eat and talk about the things we did that week. I am thankful for my family and friends because they help me through tough things. They also take me places and give me company. I am thankful for my awesome house because it gives me a place to sleep, eat and just feel safe. I am thankful for my neighbors because they can watch your house and pets when you're gone. Well those are some of the things I'm thankful for.

I am thankful that I have my house. If I didn't I would have nowhere to live. I would always have splinters and thorns in my feet. I'm also very lucky that I have a family, without my family I would not have cars and my house, I would not have anything I own. I would never have anyone to talk to I would be very lonely.

I'm thankful for my house it keeps me warm and safe. All the rooms have memories and this is why I don't know what I would do without it. When I go to bed at night my house keeps me safe from bad stuff.

I'm thankful that my family survived the fire and nobody in my family was hurt. I'm also thankful that my aunt is still living at the age of 90 years old.

I am thankful for many things, including family, friends, and heroes of today. These things are the things I specifically picked from all the things I am thankful for, and I would like to share them.

I am thankful for my family. I have the best family ever. I am very lucky I have a family.

I am thankful for a lot of things like my family and friends, but I am also thankful for the people who risk their lives for us. The police, firefighters, the military, and many others who help our country to develop and be safe. When we see a police car driving down our street, we feel safe because we know they will be there if you need help. We will always feel safe in our country because of the Armed Forces who make sure we are safe in our country.

I'm thankful for the men and women who tried to save our homes. They risked their lives for our homes. Many people like me know someone who have lost their homes. They are the bravest people I know, so thank you. That is what I'm thankful for.

I am mostly thankful for God who has given me my family. I am thankful to him for all that he has given to us in this world, all of his creations.

I'm thankful for my parents who work so hard to give me the best they can, for my brother and sisters who support me in everything I do through the bad times and good times, for my friends who try to cheer me up when I'm sad or mad. I'm mostly thankful for having God in my life because without him I wouldn't have these wonderful things to share with everyone.

I am thankful for lots of things. I'm thankful for family, friends, and many, many more things. Due to recent events like the fire I have one more thing to be thankful for, my house. I am also thankful that my whole family is safe. One final thing I am thankful for is God. God is the one that created us and loves us.

My house is very important to me. Recently, many people near me lost their homes. My house is where my family is, where my shelter is, and where my food is. The definition of "house" is "a building for human habitation, to provide shelter." My house does both of these things. Family is also important to me. My family is always there for me. They'd be there if my house burned down. They'd be there even if my house were standing.

Hi! I am very thankful to be living in a very nice apartment in America's most beautiful city and having survived for 66 years!

I have so much to be thankful for! My family, friends, country and church.

I am thankful, first to our almighty God for giving me a second life, after a procedure went wrong; to the doctors and nurses who did a good job of reviving me and took care of me; to my family and friends for their support, prayers, cards, flowers, and mass offered for me during my critical condition.

I give thanks for so many things. The big THANK YOU is for life itself. That gift allows me to enjoy three healthy children, five grandkids and five great-grandkids. Each smile makes me grow a little more as a man.

I am eternally thankful to my family. Without my parents, I would not be here. My husband, Adryon and my sons, A.J. and Naryon continually give me the strength, will and love to look forward to each day and give me the encouragement and support to enjoy life the best way possible. I am so very grateful to have them in my life.

I am thankful for friends. If I never had friends there wouldn't probably be anyone to stick up for me. There wouldn't be anyone to play with. Friends are really nice. I love when we always play together. If you have a lunch, they always share with you. Having friends could be good because if you don't have any brothers or sisters. Having friends is great. That is why I am thankful for friends.

I'm thankful for lots of things. Some things I'm thankful for are to have a nice house, health, clothes, and food. I am thankful [for my] family because my whole family supports me to do things I've never tried. I'm thankful for my house because other fire victims don't have a house to live in. School is something I'm thankful for because I'm able to learn. The last thing that I want to put down is my health, because I am thankful for a healthy body to live with and a healthy mind to think with.

I'm thankful for my house not getting touched by the fire in Scripps Ranch. I was scared for my mom because she stayed to make sure the house didn't get burnt. Our friends told her to evacuate, but she stayed. She packed all the important stuff.

I am thankful for a loving family and nice friends. I am also thankful for good food to eat. I am thankful for animals and my hamster. I am also thankful for my brothers and sisters.

I am thankful for my Mom and Dad and the things they have given up for me. I am thankful for my brothers coming home for Thanksgiving to be with me and my sisters. My uncles and aunts are coming to join the celebration with us, too. I am thankful for my loving and caring parents. I am thankful for my kind grandparents. I am thankful that the war in Iraq is over. I am still worried for our soldiers who are working to make Iraq a safe and peaceful country. I pray for them. I am also very thankful for my house and that it is safe and did not burn. I am thankful that many are now safe and were not hurt by the fires. I am sorry for those who lost their houses, animals and friends. I am thankful that our school was not harmed, and I thank God for His protecting the St. Vincent community.

I am thankful for God because he was the one who made everything and put every human being on earth. If God wasn't a part of our life, our lives would be very dull. God helps us to look at people for who they are and not what race they are. God should be the most important person or leader in everyone's life. God was the one who put us on earth for a purpose.

I'm thankful for my parents. They nourish me in every way. They're always there when I fall and scrape a knee. They supply me clothes and shelter. I'm thankful for God. He gave me a great life, but most of all I'm grateful that the fire didn't come near to me. I'm glad that I didn't lose any of my possessions. I'm also appreciative for my teachers who taught me many things, which I know will help me in my future life. Wow, it looks like I'm very thankful for everything I have.

I am thankful that am alive and that God is watching over me. That I have good friends, and a loving family. Am thankful that no schools got burned down. Am thankful that everyone in our class is all right. Am thankful the Red Cross is helping everyone who was harmed by the fire. Am thankful that everyone is giving a very big helping to everyone. Am thankful that am here today and for life.

I am thankful for a lot of things in my life. One of the things that I am thankful for is my family and their homes. After the recent fire that suddenly happened I realized how much they mean to me. My aunt and cousins were evacuated and they came to my house. I was scared for their homes and pets. We heard from a friend who was fighting the fire that the fire was across the street from my aunt's house and we all almost started to cry. Luckily, the incredible firefighters came to the rescue and saved her house!!!

I am thankful for my country. I am thankful that I have a choice and that I am free. I am thankful that I am an American. I am thankful for my friends and family and for my life.

I am thankful for all the things I have and I am thankful that no one I know died in the fires. I am also thankful for not living in Iraq.

I am most thankful for memories. Memories are like windows to our past. Whether they are happy or sad, memories help to shape our lives. Without memories something great could happen but you would not be able to remember it. Memories help me recall people like my grandma who died when I was only three. I can still remember the Hershey's kisses she gave me or those little purses filled with old cosmetics. Without memories I could not remember those happy times. I am very thankful that I can.

I'm thankful for my family and friends because they are always there to help me with things in my life that I have trouble with. I'm also thankful for schools because an education is very important. After the fires I am especially thankful for my house because it is still there, it is safe and warm. I am thankful for the food we eat and things we need to survive. The End.

I am thankful for all things in my life that God gives me. The first thing (and the most important thing) I am thankful for is my supportive family and great friends who are always there for me. I am also thankful for my beautiful house that protects me and gives me shelter. I am very grateful that it was not burnt down because of this wildfire. I thank God every day for my great life.

I am thankful for so many things. The most important, though, is my family and my friends. My family and friends are always there for me no matter what. If I need someone to lean on, they're there. I'm really thankful that we live somewhere where education is so important and that we have enough money to send me and my brother to school. This Thanksgiving I'm going to try to help out people that are less fortunate than me by participating in can drives and other activities that help people.

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for many things. I am very thankful that I'm safe from the fires that ravaged San Diego and parts of Los Angeles. I'm happy that my family and my friends were safe as well. Besides being safe from the fire, I'm thankful and appreciative that my parents can send me to a wonderful school so that I can receive a great education. I worship the Lord that my family has always cared for me even when they're busy. I also thank the Lord that I have great friends that stick by me even when times are rough. Then last thing I'm most thankful for is the life God gave me.

During Thanksgiving time we feel that it is necessary for us to be thankful for the privileges we every so often take for granted. These are some of the things I take for granted... One of the most important factors of my life is my education. I am thankful for my education and the people that contribute towards my education such as my teachers, my friends, and my family. Another ability that I so often take for granted is my ability to love. My belief is that the reason we give gifts during the Holiday season is to show our love and appreciation. Also throughout the Holiday season family comes over to have dinner or just to "chat." This is yet another way to show your love and appreciation. In conclusion, I would encourage you to make new friends but keep the old. Also, you should also remember that although you may not live on, your love will be passed down for generations to come.

I am thankful for many things this Thanksgiving. I am thankful for my family, with my loving parents and caring brothers and sisters. I am thankful for all my talents in which God has blessed me with. I am thankful for my friends, who make my life full of fun and laughter. The list of things I am thankful for is never-ending. I will not only be thankful for the things I have, but also try to make a difference in the lives of those who don't have what I do.

I am thankful for my family, friends and relatives who have supported me in good times and in bad. I am thankful for having a life, because without God none of us would have a life. I am thankful for the education my parents have allowed to me have at a wonderful school. I am glad I have the opportunities to succeed in life, school and in my heart. The roof my parents have put over my head has kept me safe when it has rained and whatnot. The food my family has put in my stomach, the love my family has given me and the friends I have has kept my heart beating and I am thankful for that.

During this Thanksgiving season, I would like to thank everyone for what they have given to me. My mom who always takes care of me and gives me what I need. My dad who always pushes me to do better. My sister who always sets a good example for me and is always there for me. My grandparents who believe in me and only want me to be happy. My teachers who educate me and push me to do my best. And my friends who brighten my day. In conclusion, I am thankful for all God has given to me.

This Thanksgiving I am thankful for many things. Like always, I am thankful for my family and friends because they are the most important and helpful people in my life. I'm also thankful for my teachers and the schooling I am able to receive, because that's something not everyone is able to have. But most of all, I am thankful that most of my family wasn't affected by the fires of 2003. Along with that, I'm thankful for all the police and firefighters that help people every day, especially during the fires when our city and some people were in danger.

During this Thanksgiving I feel thankful for things I took for granted before the fires. I am thankful that not many people have died because of the fires. I feel a lot more thankful about my house and not having to evacuate. The holidays are coming up and I can't wait to spend them with my friends and family. The biggest think that I am thankful for is my safety and the safety of everyone else around me. These are just a few of the many things I am thankful for.

This Thanksgiving I am most thankful for my family. I am thankful for my family because they have always been there for me. I am also thankful that my family and I are fortunate enough to still be alive and still have our house after the fires. My family also expresses their love in many ways by helping me in school or anything I have trouble in. Thank you for always being there for me.

What am I thankful for during this Thanksgiving? This year I am thankful for being able to have my house and celebrate this Thanksgiving there. I'm just thankful for the roof over my head. With experiencing these fires I feel very fortunate, but very guilty inside because my family and I were very fortunate. I feel sad for kids my age that can not come home to their family in their house during the holiday seasons. I'm very grateful, but very sad for those who lost it all. That is why I am grateful for my family and my home.

What am I thankful for? Well I am thankful for my family for always being there for me. I love my school and where I live. My friends are always nice, but sometimes grouchy. I am thankful for so many things it's hard to write about all of them.

I am thankful for many things. I am thankful for family because they keep me safe at all times. My family love me because I am their child. I am thankful to God because he cares for me all the time. I am thankful for friends, they respect me for who I am. I am thankful for the world that I am living in. I am thankful for my house that I live in. Being thankful for one blessing is extremely hard. In this last year we have dealt with hard issues. People around me have passed on, and people I don't even know are watching us take our every step. But when you think about it, service men and women are right beside you trying to help. These people are workers to protect family members, friends, houses, and all the way down to pets. This Thanksgiving I am thankful for the people who are there when somebody stumbles.

Recently there was just a fire that burnt down a lot of Southern California. Luckily my family and I were not harmed in any way. I am thankful for many gifts that I have been blessed with in my life. My family is one of the gifts in my life. Another gift is the support I get when I am under pressure or scared. I hope that this Thanksgiving that everyone has a place to eat and show their thanks.

I am thankful for many things. I am so thankful for my wonderful parents, who love me and take care of me. My family and my friends are always there for me and I can't imagine life without them by my side. I thank God for them. I am also thankful for my good health, that enables me to do many of the activities that I love doing. I am also thankful for my education, that will allow me to get a good job.

I am thankful for everything. I feel honored and blessed to have a house and clothes to shelter me. Another thing I am thankful for is my freedom and my individuality. But, I would have to say that first and foremost, I am thankful for my family and friends who are always there for me. Therefore, I am very thankful for what God has blessed me with.

Many things come to mind when someone says the word "thankful." But one word seems to stand out more than the others: "Freedom." Our country gives people more say in government, and more chances that any other country. I don't know what life would be like without these and many other freedoms. I can speak my mind, say what is wrong with the government, and if I disagree with something I can change it. Being able to do this has a major effect on my life and the world. Many people take their freedoms for granted; I won't.

There is much to be thankful for especially around these times of fire, war and poverty around the world. First of all, I am truly thankful for how lucky I am to be safe from the horrific fire. I almost feel guilty for having a shelter while many others do not. One of the biggest events that the United States and I feel deeply thankful for is how the war hasn't physically affected us. We are affected mentally on how it has hurt others. What I am mostly thankful for is my knowledge that people care for me, and I share a part of one happy family. All in all, I am tremendously thankful for what I have.

There are so many things that we should be thankful for, but are taken for granted. For example, most of us look at a plate of food and might say, "I don't like that, I want something else," whereas others who are less fortunate would be extremely grateful to get even a small portion of food. And think about all of those people who feel unloved and are mistreated, and hopefully you will be grateful for your friends and family who care and love you.

What I am thankful for. To me I am not thankful for possessions or new clothes, the newest shoes or hairstyles. I am most thankful for my family. My family will never go out of style like most of the new fads. My family will love me and care for me forever. I am thankful for my education, my wonderful teachers, and my health. I sometimes see people on the news that have had damage done upon their homes and families and even themselves and I am always grateful for what I have whether it be family, friends, or my health and I will never stop praising God for what he has given me.

This Thanksgiving I am most thankful for my family and friends. My family and friends bring out the best in me and encourage me to be myself. They've shown me that there is nothing that I could do that would let them stop loving me. I am also thankful for my church. My church has made me feel welcome and has also helped me to be a better and happier person. Going to church is now fun for me and I have become to feel closer to God. I am also thankful for the firefighters, who are courageous and who I think are the heroes of San Diego.
