THE MOVE: Supine lying with the legs up a wall or chair

WORKS ON: Relaxation, tired legs and feet

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: Beginner

PRECAUTIONS: This move requires you to twist slightly into position. Consult a physician if you have a history of low-back injury.

SETUP: Sit sideways to a wall or sturdy chair. Lie back while you slowly twist the torso until your legs point up the wall and your back is flat on the ground.

THE MOVES: Straighten the legs as much as comfortable. Relax the arms beside you and close your eyes. Breathe evenly.

REPETITIONS: Start with periods of two to three minutes. Increase the time as desired.

OPTIONS: Take a yoga class for other relaxing poses.
