SAN DIEGO – A man was stabbed by a teenager in Ocean Beach Tuesday evening, police said.

The 26-year-old man was walking on Newport Avenue near Sunset Cliffs Boulevard just before 7 p.m. when two teenagers walked up to him. One of the teens then stabbed the man and both youths ran away, police said.

The man was taken to a hospital for a wound that is not life-threatening, police said. The motive for the stabbing was not immediately known.
