OCEANSIDE: An Oceanside police officer is on administrative duty after a DUI arrest.

In June, Officer Dwight Carwell was arrested by the California Highway Patrol in San Diego on suspicion of drunken driving, Oceanside Officer Kim Rainwater said.

Carwell joined the department in 1993, Rainwater said. –M.R.
