SURVEY SAYS
16.1. That's the percentage of people who say they are unaffiliated with any particular faith today, according to the Pew Forum's U.S. Religious Landscape Survey. That is more than double the number who say they were not affiliated with any particular religion as children. Among Americans ages 18 to 29, one in four reports not currently being affiliated with any particular religion.
LOCAL SPOTLIGHT: SPIRITUAL SUPPORT
If you or someone you know is trapped in a violent relationship or has been the victim of sexual assault, there is help available. The Rock Church has a support group to provide guidance and resources. The next meeting is from 7:30 to 8:30 Monday night in Room 232. There is no charge to attend. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
The Encinitas Historical Society is looking for men, women and high school students to become docents at the 1883 Schoolhouse located at 390 W. F St., Encinitas. Docents will greet visitors while working in pairs. Local history material is provided. For further information, call (760) 753-5726.
