Tips for spending less and living better

Don't buy individual bags of potato chips or cookies for school lunches. Buy the giant economy size and portion them into 1-ounce sizes that you put in baggies. A 1-ounce individual bag of chips may cost around 38 cents an ounce; it costs 16.5 cents for 1 ounce of the same chips when you bag them yourself.
