RISKS IN ANTIDEPRESSANTS
The risks of taking some antidepressants for conditions other than medical depression – such as back pain or premature ejaculation – can be hurtful. Mixing selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs causes a sixfold spike in your risk of internal bleeding. A Wake Forest University study found that the risk may be worth it for those battling depression, but people taking SSRIs for other reasons should try acetaminophen.
